Countdown
I can not wait for this weekend!!! Many reasons have me excited about this weekend. First of all, Lisa and her family arrive tomorrow and I get to spend some time with cutie Aiden this weekend, it also means that my track break is just around the corner, which means I fly home. This week has been CRAZY at work, not only do I have a lot of deadlines to meet, but imagine 60 kids that know Halloween is here!!

Fall is in the Air
This weekend was a busy one for the Eveleigh Family. We had too many events going on at the same time, and were unable to make all of them. Saturday morning we went to the Fall Festival. The picture is of Morgan playing in the pumpkin patch. I was trying to get her attention, but she was too busy trying to put all of the broken stems back on the pumpkins. We then came home with enough time to change our clothes to go to birthday party #2 (we missed birthday party #1 because of the raffle drawing at the fall festival) The girls had fun playing at the party, I did not!! I was too busy chasing Miss Morgan around and around- then we went bowling with our friends. (see Princess Maegan for more details) Fall is in the air- even if the temp. doesn't show it!Wednesday, October 22, 2008
To rest or not to rest....
Do you ever have those days where staying in bed all day with the sheets pulled up tight seems like the best idea that you've ever had???
What would you do if you were given a free day? Free from responsibilities and free to do as you please? (I dream of these days often) Hopefully I can make it a few more weeks until we go to AL for a visit and then I can actually have that problem to debate over...As for now - this roller coaster hasn't stopped for me to get off yet! Each day I have a meeting- so besides my early to work time of 7:10 (and YES that is dropping the kids at daycare, picking up the babysitter's kid and making it to work on time) I keep having meetings each morning...long meetings that last until the bell rings for students to arrive and some go waaaaaaaaaaaaay past the bell and I have to find someone else to pick up my students. I keep thinking just wait the weekend is coming and then I remembered our busy weekend, fall festival, birthday party #1, birthday party #2, church meeting, etc etc etc..
Sorry for the rant, but now I feel much better
I just wish God didn't trust me this much! :)
Goodnight all, I need to get things ready for tomorrow- because...you guessed it another meeting in the morning!!!!

Madness
Well, my new job this year is total MADNESS to say the least. I am working later, going in on weekends, and driving myself to the point of insanity. But I LOVE it! I have finally found the place I need to be! I love working with 5year olds and watching them blossom. Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't dropped from the face of the Earth, but I have fallen into the abyss of Kindergarten!

Disneyland
Today we drove to Disneyland to celebrate Maegan's birthday! Mark and I are exhausted! We've been up since 3AM! Here are a few pictures of our entrance into the park. This is Morgan's first time. She's doing great and even loves the rides. Check out Maegan's blog for more pictures..She did more than me!

Maegan's New Blog
Well, Maegan never ceases to amaze us. Just last week we caught her playing on the computer and she was signing up for her own AOL account. Luckily, she entered a wrong URL and we were able to cancel. And YES we do have passwords on the computer, but Maegan can work around all of that, as well as sign herself on to her favorite websites. Thank goodness it is all approved by Mom and Dad.
Well, she has gone and posted her own blog. She will probably be better at posting than I am, because she is on the computer more than me.
Check her out at... www.princess-maegan.blogspot.com

Spring Is In The Air
Sorry for the random order...but at least I found 2 secs to post some new pics.
Here's Maegan in her bunny dress that Bebe sent to her.
Daddy and his girls....
Maegan putting carrots out for the Easter Bunny (incase he gets hungry she told me)
Morgan at the Eggstravaganza this week. As hard as we tried Mark and I could not get the two of them together for a picture. They were even dressed alike. Someone was always running off or crawling away. It is getting harder to take pictures of them. Neither one wants to look at the camera. I know the new craze is taking random shots -letting the kids be natural. But once in awhile - I'd like to see their faces in the same frame??? Check out Morgan's bottom row of razors. If you put your hand close to her face... BEWARE!
Morgan grabbing eggs. Once again I was too late before she moved out of the frame.
Molly, Maegan (yes her back is to me in most pictures) and Claire at Town Square Egg Hunt.Thursday, March 06, 2008
The Springs Preserve
Today we went to the Springs Preserve. I, of course, wasn't interested in looking at the plants. I only wanted to take pictures. Maegan, of course, wasn't interested in pictures...she only wanted to play. They had a cool playground, but I couldn't keep her still long enough to get a picture there. Here's my lame attempt to be a photographer.

A Happy Baby
Ice Skating
A few weeks ago we went to one of my former student's birthday party. Maegan had a blast and so did Mark (he used to play ice hockey). We are currently looking for skates in Maegan's size. She wants to take up ice skating.

Walking With The Dinosaurs LIVE
Mark was able to get tickets to Walking With The Dinosaurs LIVE for Friday night's performance. We sat in one of the Thomas and Mack's conference boxes. The show was amazing. If you haven't heard anything about it, go to their website www.dinosaurlive.com. All dinosaurs were crafted to actual size. A great experience for Maegan -she loved it. We took her friend Chase with us and he had a million questions about everything! Here's a few pics from the night. I only had my little camera and no flash allowed :(
